Fruits & Vegetables “To Go”

Tuesday night I danced in my very first flash mob.

Undercover Flash Mob

That’s me:  “Jane” the businesswoman.

Haven’t we all wanted to bust out into song and dance in public, then walk away like nothing happened?  If you ever get wind of a flash mob or an opportunity to be a part of one, I urge you to do it… and so does Jane.

Just when you thought sharing this has nothing to do with fruits & vegetables, I’ll throw in how I sipped on a new favorite mango citrus flavored water on the way over to the gig.

Along with some quick fun facts…

Fact: Your body needs 9-13 servings of fruit and vegetables, daily.

Fact: Try as I might, my body doesn’t always get 9-13 servings.

Fact: I’ve found something that can help!

*NOTE: Although I was provided with the following product, I am not compensated in any way for writing about it.  I am not a professional nutritionist, but instead a health enthusiast.  Everything I write about comes from my own personal discoveries and experiences, and I only share what I believe will improve overall health and well being.

Unlike most people I’ve met, there’s rarely a fruit or vegetable I don’t like.  I am a fruit & vegetable fanatic.

Question from Roadie

Being on-the-go, in a hurry or away from home is an easy excuse to get off a normal food routine filled with the nutrients you need.  I’ve been recently introduced to these Nutrilite Fruits & Vegetables Twist Tubes and I’m hooked.

Each box comes with 20 twist tubes, convenient for every day use at home or work.

There’s nothing else much to explain, except the 3 easy steps to 2 full servings of fruits & vegetables.

Step 1: Get a full water bottle.

Step 2: Squeeze in a Fruits & Vegtables 2GO Twist Tube.

Add Nutrilite Twist Tube to water.

Step 3: Shake it up!

I’ve been an advocate for using Crystal Light in my water for years.  It’s a great way to add flavor to your water in exchange for 5 calories.  While this helped me power up at the gym, it didn’t provide me with any additional nutritional value.

I love that the twist tubes ensure a fruit & vegetable or two, and the delicious mango citrus taste is an extra bonus.

You just never know when you might need some pre-song and dance nutrients.

How you do get in your daily servings of fruits & veggies? Do you strictly stick to eating raw foods, or provide your body with some sort of supplement?
